#40 Pitch 16-Tooth Heavy-Duty Idler/Tensioner Sprocket – 2186-41


The 2186-41 Heavy-Duty Idler/Tensioner Sprocket is a 16-tooth #40 pitch sprocket designed to maintain consistent chain tension and alignment in high-load systems. Originally developed for use with our FCRP-4055 Chain Tensioner, this idler sprocket is also compatible with a wide range of custom or universal chain tensioner assemblies.


This sprocket comes pre-installed with a durable brass bushing, reducing the bore size to accommodate a 3/8-16 x 2" mounting bolt. Complete mounting hardware is included—washer, bolt, and nylon lock nut—for quick and secure installation.


Unlike standard chain guides or rollers, this idler sprocket actively engages the chain, offering improved alignment and reduced wear, especially when the engine is idling or the clutch is disengaged.
