Front Steer Spindles are most commonly built for prepared class race mower that uses a stock chassis that has more ground clearance than the FX or Outlaw classes. The front steer means the tie rod that connects the two spindles is in front of the axle beam and the left side spindle has a drag link arm that connects to the pitman arm on the steering shaft via a drag link tie rod.
These spindles do not come ready for front brakes. To set them up for front brakes you’ll need to notch the spindle axes for a brake key. The axles are standard 5/8” and will use 5/8” front hubs.
