Tillotson Fuel Stacks have been virtually unchanged in their design since they were first produced.
This is a testament to their performance and consistency. Tillotson Carburetors are very modular. The Standard Volume(Single Stack, Gas) and High Volume(Double Stack, Alky) Pump Plate can be changed on the many different carburetor bodies. But you cannot mix the two pump plate types. It is common for carburetors converted to run methanol alcohol to change from a standard volume to high volume pump stacks.
The Fuel Pump Body is the first or top aluminum plate of the carburetors' fuel pump plates.
