The EC 493INT Billet Aluminum Intake Manifold is precisely engineered to adapt PWK-style spigot-mounted carburetors (24mm–28mm) to Shredder/Shred Head cylinder heads, originally designed by Lifan for the Shredder DTV and now widely used in performance Honda Clone, Predator, Tillotson, Ducar, and Wildcat engines.


Whether you’re building a high-performance mini bike, racing kart, or open modified engine, this billet intake offers unmatched precision, strength, and reliability under extreme conditions.

Each EC billet intake is CNC-machined to match the round port shape and wider bolt spacing of the Shredder-style head.
Because aftermarket porting and casting variations are common, minor port matching may be required to achieve a seamless airflow transition for maximum performance.

Where cheaper cast or welded intakes fail, EC’s billet design holds strong under high RPM vibration and demanding riding conditions:

  • Carb Boot Locking Groove: Precision-machined groove ensures a tight, secure seal with the recommended rubber carb boot (#515 – sold separately).
  • Stabilizer Bracket: Custom-fit bracket bolts the intake to the carburetor, preventing separation or vibration-related failures — ideal for trail, race, or endurance builds.
  • Pulse Fitting Included: Pre-installed fitting supports vacuum-operated fuel pumps, ensuring consistent fuel delivery at all RPM ranges.

Note: Predator 212 Non-Hemi engines use 11mm dowel pins. You may need to enlarge dowel holes in the cylinder head to fit this intake. This does not affect manifold-to-head alignment.

Q: Does it fit Predator 212 engines?
A: Yes, it fits Predator 212 Hemi and 224 engines when using the Shredder Heads. For the Predator 212 Non-Hemi, dowel holes may need to be enlarged to fit the Shredder-style head.


Q: Is a carburetor boot included?
A: No, the carburetor boot (#515) is sold separately. We recommend EC’s boot for a precise fit.


Q: Do I need a fuel pump with this intake?
