Our Return Policy

We want you to love your purchase! If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to help with returns — just please keep a few things in mind:

- Please contact us within 7 days after your order is delivered if you need to return something.

- You’ll need to send the item back within 30 days of receiving it.

- Returns must be approved by us first — unauthorized returns can’t be accepted.

- Make sure your item is in new, unused condition and includes all original packaging and parts.

- Don’t forget to include a copy of your receipt and a short note explaining the return.

What to Expect

- Once we receive and inspect your return, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

- Shipping costs are non-refundable.

- Refunds will be sent back to the original payment method you used to place the order.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Methods:
All online orders are shipped via UPS Ground, UPS SurePost, or USPS Priority Mail depending on package size, weight, and destination. Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight, dimensions, number of boxes, and include processing, handling, and insurance fees.

Please note: All shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Charges for orders placed via email or phone may differ from those calculated online.

Order Processing & Delivery Time:

- Standard orders placed Monday through Friday typically ship within 1-2 business days.

- Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be shipped the next available business day (usually Monday or Tuesday).

- Custom or hand-built products may require additional production time before shipping.

- In the rare event of a delay or issue preventing shipment, we will notify you promptly by phone or email.

Express & Expedited Shipping:

Note: We are currently not shipping express shipments

- Express orders (Next Day, 2nd Day, or 2-Day Shipping) must be placed by phone only.

- Orders placed after 12:00 p.m. CST will be processed the next business day.

- UPS guarantees only Next Day Air shipments; 2nd Day Air and other expedited options do not guarantee weekend or holiday delivery. Please plan accordingly.

Important Shipping Information:

- Address Accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. Incorrect addresses may result in delivery delays or additional fees for rerouting.

- PO Boxes: We can ship to PO Boxes via USPS only. UPS shipments require a valid street address and do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

- International Shipping: International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges. These fees are separate from merchandise costs and are typically collected at the time of delivery. Please review our full international shipping policy for details.

- PayPal Orders: Orders paid through verified PayPal accounts will be shipped only to the address registered with PayPal, per their policy. No exceptions.

1501 Rocker Arms Instructions

WARNING!

Due to the decades of mass production, updates, and revisions, Briggs & Stratton Cylinder Heads are inconsistent. A professional engine builder must install these rockers with machine shop capabilities to address variations. They cannot be installed with a lack of experience or negligence.

One notable example, most Briggs heads use metric thread, but they also made versions with standard or SAE threads. The Rockers are packaged with a rocker stand and M6 metric bolts. If you have the standard threads, you will need to purchase the correct hardware. 

There are also two additional holes in the rocker stand. They are for those that choose to modify the cylinder head for extra support. Again, a trained professional must drill, tap and install hardware for this. We do not include additional hardware.

Check Clearances and Installation

After installing rockers, you will need to check your pushrod length to sweep the rocker across the valve tip properly. 

Once you have the proper pushrods and rockers installed, you will need to check your valve spring clearance. Check for coil bind on the inner and outer valve spring. You need a minimum of .030" before the coil bind of either spring.

Next, you need to check your clearance between the bottom of the valve retainer to the top of the valve guide. You need a minimum of .050" clearance.

Next, you need to check your clearance between the retainer and the rocker arm. DO NOT FOR ANY REASON GRIND OR CUT ON THE ROCKER ARM.

Once you have done all your dry fitting of your valve train, make sure you use a high-quality assembly lube to lubricate the trunnion shaft, rocker arm bore, and roller tip. We recommend Maxima Racing Oil Assembly Lube or Grease for all of your engine building needs. 

After assembly or when your engine has sat for a few days, pour oil over the rockers. The rockers are the last part of the engine to get lubrication during start-up. Make sure they are entirely covered. You can't put too much oil on the rockers.
