Even small reductions in valvetrain mass can translate to big gains. Every gram trimmed from the valve side of the valvetrain is worth up to 40 RPM—making this a crucial upgrade for serious racers.

A: Only if the valve is tapered to 5mm at the tip, which is common in Ducar and Tillotson 212E heads. These lash caps fit only the 5mm tip, not full 5.5mm stems.
