The Wildcat 240cc Short Block is a standout in the small engine market, offering the largest factory-displacement available in a small-block platform. This fully assembled short block gives you the flexibility to build your engine your way, whether you're upgrading an existing build or starting from scratch with high-performance components.
Build It Your Way
You can tailor your Wildcat build by reusing parts from another engine or by installing premium new components. For example, our WC946-5 performance cylinder head is already ported and designed to support high-lift camshaft setups and methanol carburetors.

Displacement & Configuration
- 240.11cc achieved via a 72mm bore (same as Tillotson 225/228/236) paired with a 59mm stroke crankshaft
- Delivers "big block" displacement in a small block footprint—think of it as the 427ci LS of the minibike and kart world
- ¾-inch output shaft compatible with most standard clutches and driveline components
Camshaft
- Comes pre-installed with the Banzai 265 camshaft, the go-to upgrade for high-performance minibikes and karts
- Based on the new 224 core, so no cam clearance mods are needed around the longer 59mm crank.
- Boosts power and responsiveness right out of the box
Flywheel
- Equipped with a lightweight cast aluminum flywheel rated to 8,500 RPM for safety and performance
- No ignition coil included – choose from rev-limited or non-limited coils based on your application
- If exceeding 6,200 RPM, we recommend upgrading to a billet connecting rod
7-Bolt Side Cover
Top Plate & Fuel Pump
- Includes a top plate and aluminum fuel pump—ideal for use with a WC22 carburetor
- Designed for setups where the fuel tank sits lower than the carb; bypass the pump if using an elevated gravity-feed tank
Pull Rope Handle
- Thoughtful detail: features a sturdy soft-grip pull handle instead of cheap plastic for better comfort and durability
