FAQ

Q1: How do I know if this starter nut fits my engine?

A: This starter nut fits engines with a 16x1.5mm metric thread, including most Honda GX390s, Predator 420s, and Wildcat 460s. You must verify your crankshaft’s thread pitch before ordering.

Q2: What is the advantage of the dual hex design?

A: The dual hex (3/4" and 15/16") design allows you to use either size socket on your handheld electric starter. This gives you more flexibility and compatibility at the track or in the shop.

Q3: Is this starter nut compatible with electric starters?

A: Yes. It’s designed specifically for use with external handheld electric starters used in karting and racing applications.

Q4: How much torque can this starter nut handle?

A: This billet steel nut is engineered to handle up to 250 ft-lbs of torque, making it extremely durable under high-performance and high-compression builds.

Q5: Is this compatible with small block engines like GX200 or Predator 212?

A: No. This nut is sized for big block clones like the GX390 and larger and Briggs LO206/Animal.
