This intake gasket (also known as an inlet gasket) installs between the cylinder head and either the stock phenolic insulator or an aftermarket intake manifold. Only one gasket is allowed between the carburetor and phenolic spacer, and if a restrictor plate is used, a total of two gaskets are permitted.
