The Harbor Freight Predator 212 Hemi, like most industrial-based power equipment engine, lack strong ignition systems. We have higher energy coils and stronger magnet billet flywheels with advanced ignition timing to increase the engine's efficiency and power. Ignition timing is a crucial part of engine tuning by starting the combustion process. We highly recommend using an aftermarket billet flywheel not only to improve performance but it's critical for safety. Stock flywheels are prone to failure and have no use on a racing engine.
