Most of the original Wildcat 223 engines came with a 4500rpm rev limited coil that can be swapped with any standard analog or rev limited coil.
Tillotson Analog Coils - We specified that the Tillotson uses an analog coil that produces 2 millijoules more energy than stock and most aftermarket coils. These are the preferred coils for modifying stock coils into "hot coils."
PVL Digital Coils - These were originally engineered for the Briggs Animal but are adaptable to the Honda or coils engines with a bracket. They only work with a specific flywheel that triggers the digital ignition. The cast aluminum PVL flywheels are not designed for PVL digital ignitions.
Rev Limited Coils - The analog rev-limited coils work best with stock flywheels with standard magnets. The billet flywheel's magnet may be too strong and can cause the coils to fail.
Ghost 212 Coils - The Ghost 212 coil is a rev-limited coil specifically designed for the Ghost 212. However, it can be used on other engines with stock flywheels if the coil is mounted backward (the coil lead facing down or counterclockwise).
