Hard-welded camshafts are factory cam cores welded with a harder material to handle higher spring pressures, allowing more aggressive profiles and higher lifts. These camshafts have handled 60lbs of seat pressure over .400 lift and 9000rpms. Caution! For engines turning more than 8000rpms, we recommend removing the compression release and using external electric starters.
Engines using the 58mm or longer stroke crankshafts may need to clearance the crankshaft and compression release.
