Camshafts are considered the heart of the engine. They control the valve events of the cylinder head, delivering power and that unique exhaust sound. We work with the kart racing leaders in camshaft technology and design. Our years of experience and testing offer the best grinds optimized for every customer's application and specification.

The industry uses camshaft cores for the 196 and 212 engines. These cams fit the Wildcat 240 engine but will require clearance of the compression release. To reduce and eliminate clearance issues, more camshafts are being developed using the 224 cam cores. Depending on the profile of the camshaft lobes, they also need clearance to fit. We recommend having your camshafts installed by trained professionals.

Non-Welded Camshafts - These camshafts are ground on stock-style cores and primarily use 26 lbs single springs or less.

Welded Camshafts - These are welded with a harder material to handle higher lifts, more aggressive profiles, and stiffer spring pressures.
