CNC Ported Wildcat WC946 Cylinder Head with 32/27mm Stainless Steel Valves
We are using our Wildcat WC946 Cylinder Head, which we designed to have enhanced features while maintaining a stock appearance. Our CNC machining exploits those enhancements to make mass-produced and consistent performance cylinder heads for stock-appearing and modified engines.
Cylinder Head Specs:
- 32mm Intake/27mm Exhaust with 5mm Stems.
- Precision Multi-Angle Job, Valve Bowl area, cleaned up match to the seats. The valve work is performed on the Rotter Seat & Guide Machine for accuracy and precision. Heads are vacuum-checked after the valves are installed to ensure your air-fuel mixture and combustion happen in the cylinder.
- CNC Ported on our state-of-the-art multi-axis HAAS Machines. The CNC porting, rather than by hand, makes each port job consistent and accurate from head to head. CNC Machining also reduces the cost of labor to make it more budget-friendly.
- Lightweight Titanium Retainers and Dual Valve Springs Installed at 1.00" at 43lbs Close Seat Pressure, .575 at 115lbs Open Seat Pressure, .535 Coil Bind
- Spring Pockets Cut for Max Lift .400-inch (Examples with .006 lash: .290 + 1.4 Ratio Rockers = .400, .308 + 1.3 Ratio Rockers = 363.6, .335 + 1.2 Ratio Rockers = .396, .356 + 1.1 Ratio Rockers = 385.6)
- 18cc Combustion Chamber: Don't underestimate the size of the combustion chamber. Some may want a smaller combustion chamber, but you must be careful with larger displacement engines that will see higher compression ratios over smaller engines with the same size chamber. For example, the 18cc with a .045" head gasket on a 240cc Wildcat would be around 11.5:1, which already requires high octane fuels, much higher, and you will need race gas or methanol. If you still want a small combustion chamber, it doesn't take as much decking to see smaller numbers due to the shape of the combustion chamber.
