EC 236cc Stroker Kit Assembly – For Tillotson 72mm Blocks


Take your engine performance to the next level with the EC 236RX Stroker Kit Assembly, purpose-built for the Tillotson 225R/RS 72mm bore blocks. This kit increases displacement from 223.93cc to 236.15cc (14.41ci)—giving your engine a power boost nearly equivalent to what the 225R gained over a 212cc platform.


When upgrading from a Predator 212 or Tillotson 212 (211.67cc), this stroker kit adds 24.48cc, a noticeable bump in torque, throttle response, and midrange pull—ideal for mini bikes, kart racing, and performance clone builds.

  • EC Forged 72mm Piston (Coated Skirt)
    A durable, lightweight forged piston with skirt coatings to reduce friction and wear. Its shorter compression height allows for a longer rod and improved combustion geometry.
  • 58mm Stroker Crankshaft
    Increases stroke from stock to achieve 236.15cc of displacement. Balanced and precision-machined for reliability at high RPMs.
  • High-Strength Forged Connecting Rod (Long Rod)
    Designed to match the shorter piston height for optimal deck clearance and a smoother rod angle, enhancing power and reducing stress on the engine.

Engine Compatibility:

  • Exclusively for Tillotson 225R/RS 72mm bore blocks
  • May physically fit other GX200-style engines that use a 72mm piston, but EC does not support or guarantee compatibility with non-Tillotson engines.


Important Camshaft Clearance Note:

Using a 58mm crankshaft in Predator 224, Wildcat 223, or EC stroker builds may require clearancing the camshaft, especially the compression release tab, to avoid interference with crankshaft counterweights.

We recommend using camshafts ground on a Predator 224 core, as these typically have revised compression releases that clear 58mm stroker cranks without modification.
