Description

EC Billet Intake Manifold to adapt the Walbro, Briggs or our Denki PZ22 Carburetor to the Briggs 5hp Flathead as a replacement for the stock Briggs carburetor. This manifold is designed for the wide bolt spacing from generations 1990+

You will also need a remote tank to replace the Briggs stock fuel tank. Our intake comes with a pulse fitting for an external fuel pump.

This intake will not fit the Mikuni VM22 or the knock-off (Chikuni) VM22 Carburetor. The only carburetors this intake is designed to fit are the PZ22 carburetors listed above.

I purchased the #407 adapter Briggs Flathead to PZ22 recently. Fast shipping , beautifully finished, but like a pair of pants from Sears, no clearance for the nuts! Maybe I am dense or something , but it fits great over the studs, the nuts won't fit. I had to mill 3 RCH off each side to gain room for my nuts. They need to get a better taylor! Overall a great product ! Thank you

Mr
This will not work with a genuine Mikuni VM22. I assume it works with the chinese copies since they sell a kit with one. If I drill out the threads on the mounting holes of a pz26 it will fit. This will work on a 5hp with the 2 intake bolt holes. There is a threaded hole in the back of the intake. You will have to drill out the threads in the bottom hole on the block and run a bolt from the back through the intake hole in the block and into the intake. You may have to do some clearancing on the fins to get the bolt in. This will also work on 3hp blocks.
