Here are the stock rotating components (connecting rod, 58mm crankshaft, and 70 mm flat-top piston assemblies) for the Wildcat 223 engine. The Wildcat 223 has a 70mm bore x 58mm stroke, the same as most 224cc engines, like the Ducar 224 and Predator 224, which are 223.21cc.

The Wildcat 223 uses a 70mm flat-top piston with a very short compression height, which puts the piston about .050" in the bore. This allows the use of a +.050 longer rod for a better rod angle compared to most 223/224 engines. These pistons are commonly used in our 223 stroker kits, which allow better fitment and clearance than other 70mm pistons.

The Wildcat 223 was the first factory engine introduced to the mini bike and go-kart market with a 58mm stroke crankshaft. The replacement 58mm crankshaft is one of the strongest on the market and is used in our 223 and 236cc stroker kits.
