2024 Small Engine Builder's Dyno Challenge

Spirit & Intent
The Spirit and Intent of this competition are to showcase the ingenuity and creativity of engine builders within small engine racing, including karts, mini bikes, and Jr Drag. The competition creates an opportunity for exposure, bragging rights, and maybe a few prizes, as well as promoting our respective sports for the benefit of all. It's not only a competition but a time for many of those supporting our industries to gather in one place for a bit of fun.

Host & Location
EC Carburetors is hosting the event at their Dickson, TN (West of Nashville) shop. Those participating in the event come to walk through the shop and see some behind-the-scenes work.
EC Carburetors has many hotels within 10-15 minutes. You can also visit Nashville, which is only 35-40 minutes away.

The event will be live-streamed; information and details for live-streaming will be announced later.
Dynos
Brad Hill of Brad Hill Performance will use his dyno. We will set up another Hewitt dyno and calibrate it to match Brad's. Current Classes will be tested on Brad's Dyno, and new classes on the other Hewitt Dyno. We will set up and use our large dyno for the unlimited class.

Non-Competition
After you register, an email will be sent with an engine builder form that needs to be emailed to [email protected]. Here is a link to the form in case you lose the email. Engine Builders Form
Prizes/Payouts
- Entry Fee $100 Per Class
- 100% payback for each class except the non-competition:
3-5 entries pay back to 1st
6-8 entries pay back down to 2nd
9-11 entries pay back down to 3rd
12-14 entries pay back down to 4th
15 entries pay back down to 5th
Other awards will be based on the sponsorship of each class. Sponsored Awards will be drawn for each class, which means you don't have to win your class for a chance to win a prize. If you want to sponsor a class, fill out this form and email it to [email protected]. Sponsor Form
