1600-35-18T – EC 1600-Series 1-Inch Clutch for Limited/Stock Lawnmower Racing


The 1600-35-18T Clutch is part of EC’s heavy-duty 1600-Series, specifically engineered for stock to mildly modified engines with 1-inch output shafts. It’s the ideal clutch for governed classes and RPM-limited racing, such as the Outlaw Single Cylinder class, where maximum engine speed is capped at 3650 RPM.

Built for durability and consistent engagement, the 1600-Series clutch uses heavy shoes to promote low-RPM engagement, optimizing power delivery off the line. The stock springs engage at approximately 2300 RPM, but pairing this clutch with our 1600-BLU 1800 RPM springs can drop engagement to 1800 RPM—allowing for more precise gearing, better launches, and greater top-end speed.
