1600-SHOE Replacement Shoe for EC 1600-Series Drum Clutch – 1" Shaft


The 1600-SHOE is a direct replacement clutch shoe for EC’s heavy-duty 1600-Series Drum Clutch, designed for use with Honda GX390/Clone Big Block engines or similar engines featuring a 1" output shaft. This clutch setup is popular in governed racing classes where RPMs are limited to around 3650 RPM.


These heavy clutch shoes are specifically engineered to engage at lower RPMs, giving racers the widest possible power band for tuning acceleration and top speed. When paired with our 1600-BLU 1800 RPM Clutch Springs, the engagement point drops to approximately 1800 RPM, offering optimal launch control in stock or mildly modified engine builds.
