Description

Heavy-Duty Flywheel Puller Tool – Fits ARC, PVL & Raceseng Flywheels

Remove your racing flywheel safely and precisely without using the risky “knocker” method. This heavy-duty flywheel puller is designed for small engine builders who demand a cleaner, more professional way to service their high-performance parts.

Whether you're working on a Predator 212, Honda GX, or Clone-based engine, this puller is compatible with today's most popular billet and cast flywheels, including those from ARC Racing, PVL, and EC/Raceseng.

Compatible With:

  • ARC Non-Adjustable & Adjustable Hub Flywheels
  • Cast Aluminum PVL Flywheels (Clone/Predator)
  • EC Billet Flywheels and Raceseng Lightweight Flywheels

How to Use:

  1. Thread the supplied rods into clean, lubricated puller holes on the flywheel hub or face. Ensure they are fully seated.
  2. Slide the puller block over the rods.
  3. Evenly tighten the nuts in ½-turn increments, alternating sides until the flywheel releases.
  4. If necessary, apply a single sharp tap to the center of the puller block using a hammer only after pressure is applied.

Do NOT strike the flywheel or rods directly. Always use a spacer if needed.

Important Safety Notes:

  • Never use a torch or heat above 300°F – excessive heat can destroy the rare-earth magnets inside billet and PVL flywheels.
  • Never hit the flywheel with a hammer – this can cause serious damage or cracking.
  • Use this tool with care and proper technique. EC is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use.

What’s Included:

  • Flywheel puller block
  • Threaded puller rods
  • Locking nuts

Everything you need for a safe, non-destructive flywheel removal process.

Ideal For:

  • Go-kart engine builders
  • Mini bike performance tuning
  • Predator 212 billet flywheel maintenance
  • Clone engine flywheel upgrades and teardown
  • Anyone looking to safely remove ARC, PVL, or Raceseng flywheels

FAQ

What flywheels does this puller tool work with?

This puller is designed to work with:

  • ARC Non-Adjustable & Adjustable Timing Hub Flywheels
  • Cast Aluminum PVL Flywheels (for Predator/Clone engines)
  • EC and Raceseng Billet Flywheels

Can I use this on a Predator 212 or Honda GX engine?

Yes! It’s perfect for use on Predator 212, Honda GX160/GX200, and Clone 196–224cc engines, as long as the flywheel has compatible threaded puller holes.

Is this tool safer than using a hammer or “knocker”?

Absolutely. This tool allows non-destructive flywheel removal by applying even pulling pressure. It avoids the risks of cracking or damaging the flywheel, crankshaft, or magnets—common with hammer methods.

How do I avoid damaging my flywheel during removal?

  • Thread rods in fully and lubricate first.
  • Tighten puller nuts evenly, no more than ½-turn at a time.
  • Do not apply heat over 300°F—high heat damages rare-earth magnets.
  • If stuck, lightly tap the center of the puller block—never the flywheel or rods.

Does this include all necessary hardware?

Yes, the puller includes:

  • Threaded rods
  • Puller block
  • Locking nuts
All you need for a safe and clean removal.
